Pretty fantastic for studying.
Seems to drain the battery quickly for such a small app. Timer doesnt shut off when you exit the app and app has to be force closed.
Its a basic app, but it makes wonders for me. It did increase my efficiency while studying. It helps me keep a tab on my studying.
This is the best Pomodoro app that I have come across. Clean and easy to use. And most important... the ticker sounds good. Other apps, the ticker drove me crazy.
Only one actual con, this app is a battery killer for both iPad and especially iPhone, request to the makers of this app to make it use less of my devices resources and still maintain the currently beauty and simplicity of the app. I previously had the free version for about a year, but now Ive upgraded to the $2 one to change sounds and have ticking noise off, while maintain alarm noise on. Thanks to Barbara Oakley who explained the pomodoro technique via her Ted talk to overcome procrastination problems, this app has completely astounding effects on productivity and start-up costs of actually getting started on your workload, by using the ingenious 25/5 system, which actually helps your brain switch between diffuse and focused modes, for an optimal learning experience! Love it, would totally recommend to anyone who wants to STUDY or get their work done proficiently!
I use it almost everyday. Its simple yet very effective at keeping me grounded in my activities.
Good app. Helpful.
Fantastic app, really improved my productivity in the last 6 weeks since I have it. I tried a few other but this one works better than the others to keep me concentrating and with the timer ON (it quickly turns off for those without a "pause" button - even though one is supposed to "protect" its pomodoro, we cant stop phone calls and people knocking on the door when we dont use it at home). An improvement suggestion: Id really like to prepare my pomodoros on a list inside the app (with flexible order to change tasks between blocks even if the main task is not finished) instead of doing it on paper.
Ive been using the pomodoro method for a year now, and having recently switched to iOS, I needed a new application. This is perfect, super easy to use and the UI is great. Does exactly what you expect it to do. Hoping for some more in depth stats in future updates. Great work!
Imagine this app being perfect and as-described, but with only 3 caveats: 1- cant use multitouch to leave the app without turning the timer off. 2- no split screen option, which would be convenient for this sort of app. 3- wont install on my ios7 iPhone 5. I just dont want to get ios9 on it haha Id give 4.5/5, and Ill round up since Im in a good mood.
Works like its supposed to and as a writer, I use it every day.
This app is great: it is visually attractive and helps you work better. I really enjoy the work habits it has brought me to! I even bought the pro version and I dont regret it; well done to the people at Pomodoro keeper!
Ive tried all of them, this is the best minimalist Pomodoro time on iOS. Its got everything I need and nothing more.
what more could u want in pomodoro app? maybe a lockscreen view of the timer but thats it
Really well-designed and its made me very productive.
I love this app. I really do. However, the last update was never able to install on my iPad and now I cannot use it at all. I dont know if this an app store issue, an iOS issue or an issue with the app itself but having paid for it I want to be able to use it. I attempted to contact the developer but havent heard any response, so thats what the rating of this app really reflects. The design is nice and the selection of sounds is better than any other of the dozens of similar apps. I would recommend this over others but at the moment I am having a difficult time doing so.
I love it. Its perfect. Simple. Visually appealing. Useful. What else could you ask for?
Good
Yes thats me. I can easily immerse myself into a complicated project for hours at a time all the while unconscious of other responsibilities, commitments and urgencies. 5 minutes of relaxation between 25 minutes of concentration periods makes me more aware of reality. Standing up for 5 minutes, out of my chair is good also.
